This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Service.

By creating an account, accessing the website, or using the Service in any way, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Account details: your name, and either your Google account email or your phone number, depending on how you sign in.

Birth details: your date, time, and place of birth, used only to calculate your birth chart.

Your questions and our chart-grounded replies, so your conversation history is available the next time you visit.

Basic usage data (like how many questions you've asked) to apply your question limit and improve the product.

Basic technical data, like your IP address and browser type, when you use the Service - used only for security, rate-limiting, and diagnosing issues, not for advertising or tracking.

To calculate your birth chart and answer the questions you ask about it.

To maintain your account and conversation history across sessions.

To apply your monthly question quota and process payments for additional questions.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your birth details or conversations for advertising.

We process your personal information on the basis of your consent, given when you create an account and provide your birth details, and because processing is necessary to provide the Service you've asked for - calculating your chart, answering your questions, and maintaining your account.

You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account. This does not affect the lawfulness of any processing we carried out before you withdrew consent.

When you run Kundali Matching, we store the names, gender, and birth time and place you submit for each person. Those people may not have Kundaligram accounts of their own.

By submitting someone else's birth details, you confirm that you have the authority or consent to do so. Do not submit details for anyone without that authority or consent.

Match records are kept for as long as your account is active, and are deleted when you request deletion of your account and associated data.

If you later ask questions in chat about a match, the AI system that generates your answer may receive match-related context - such as names and compatibility scores - so the reply can stay grounded in that report.

This is an experimental feature that estimates a possible birth time or date from dated life events you choose to share - such as a marriage, a child's birth, a house move, a job change, or a bereavement. It is not a flagship feature, and its results may be inaccurate; we tell you this directly wherever it's used.

We store only the event type and the date (or the year, or the year and month) you give us - never a free-text description of what happened. Every event is optional; skip anything you'd rather not share.

This data is used only to compute the search you asked for. It is deleted automatically 30 days after your search finishes (or sooner if you cancel it yourself), and you can delete it immediately at any time by cancelling the search.

Chart calculation - your birth chart is computed on our own servers from the birth details you provide (Parashari system, Lahiri ayanamsa). No third-party astrology service receives your birth data.

AI-generated answers - a trusted AI service provider generates the natural-language answers to your questions, using your chart data as context. Match names and scores may also be included when you ask about a match.

Secure data storage - your account and chart data are stored with a trusted database provider under industry-standard security practices, with access restricted to your own account.

OTP delivery - a trusted messaging provider delivers the one-time passcode (OTP) if you sign in with a phone number.

Payment processing - a trusted, RBI-authorised payment gateway processes payments if you purchase additional questions. We do not store your card or payment details ourselves.

Each of these providers only receives the information necessary to perform their specific function, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations to us.

Place data: Countries States Cities Database (ODbL).

Indian district data: Wikipedia contributors (CC BY-SA), Wikidata (CC0), and OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).

Your data is stored and processed using infrastructure and service providers we've selected for their security practices. Some of these providers may process data on servers located outside India; where this happens, we rely on their contractual and technical safeguards for handling personal data across borders.

We do not store your payment card or bank details ourselves - our payment partner processes payments directly and shares only the confirmation status with us.

We apply reasonable security practices and procedures as required under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, including encrypted connections (TLS) between your device and our servers, and access controls so your data is only reachable from your own account.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep your birth chart, match history, and conversation history for as long as your account is active, so you don't have to re-enter birth details or lose your history.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us using the details below. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

You can access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. Contact us and we'll action your request.

Where applicable law gives you additional rights - such as the right to nominate someone to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity - you can exercise these by writing to us at the details below.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run ads on Kundaligram - so there's nothing to opt out of.

Chart calculations are deterministic mathematics, not a judgement about you. Chat answers are AI-generated, grounded in your chart, and intended for reflection and self-understanding - the Service does not use your data to make any automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Birth charts may be created for people of any age. If you submit birth details for someone under 18, you confirm you have parental authority or consent to do so.

If a security incident materially affects your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and, where required by law, the relevant authority, without unreasonable delay.
